Episode Summary:    I hope you are having an amazing day and I am so glad you are here!    This new podcast that is coming soon is a very bold podcast, as I’m sure you can tell by the title.    “Religious” is intentionally in quotes for the title.    My name is Stephanie Dennis and I am your podcast host. I am a girl on a spiritual, faith and religious journey. And. It is evolving into a journey that doesn’t put me into a specific box. It doesn’t have particular conditions.    This is a faith journey that is based off of authenticity. It is based on faith. It is based off of curiosity.  It is based off of asking questions, learning new things and getting outside of my own comfort zone to understand what other people think. What other people feel, what other people believe and helping grow in a spiritual way.   What I would love to do with this podcast is help bridge the gap of religion and spirituality because as I start to learn about some of these new things that I’ve been curious about I’m starting to learn and understand that a lot of the time when people are talking about certain things in religion or certain things in spirituality, we are talking about the same things but using different words.    I want to unpack the box that some of us feel put into under religion and open that up a little bit and start asking some questions and learning new things.    This is not a podcast about bashing religion, this is not an atheist podcast.   Let me give you some examples of what I mean when I say bullshit. 

• God doesn’t give you more than you can handle

• It’s all part of God’s plan
• • Bullshit 

  What if spirituality didn’t have to be separate from religion? What if rather they could compliment each other?    This podcast is for everyone with all religious beliefs and faiths of all kind.    Be open to having an uncomfortable conversation around love, God, religion, spirituality, meditation, angels, etc.    We might explore words like hail mary, anointed, the kingdom, etc.    What if we lived in a world where love won? A world where everyone could experience God’s love? A world where everyone could experience God’s love regardless of their faith, religion, past bad decisions?
