Als 18-jarige renner kwam Rory Sutherland aan in Nederland en liet hij Australië achter zich. “Het gemis is bijna niet uit te leggen, ik heb vaak teruggedacht om terug te gaan”, aldus Sutherland.
Dat deed hij niet; een keuze die hem hoge pieken en diepe dalen opleverde bij onder meer de ploegen van Rabobank, Tinkoff-Saxo en Movistar.
