Laura Murray is a Graduate Student at the University of Notre Dame studying under the supervision of Stefan Stolz. Her research is on a certain mathematical model for quantum field theories, called factorization algebras. More specifically, she is interested in using techniques from algebraic topology and higher categories to model a geometric version of factorization algebras and relate them to twisted field theories.
We'd like to thank Laura for joining us and telling us her story and experiences as a Mathematician!
