As the political and social climate regarding transgender individuals of all ages has turned into a raging fire, I thought it was important to get a unique take on some of the individuals that are most impacted by a person's decision to come out publicly as transgder: specifically, parents.  In this episode you will meet my mother and father as we discuss how our relationship changed after I came out as a transgender woman at the age of 48.  This was a long and emotional interview, so I have broken it down into 2 segments.  Huge thank you to my parents Doug and Paula Waters for agreeing to talk openly about their feelings.
