This week's conversation is about the upcoming INACSL 2024 conference in Raleigh, North Carolina. Joining us this week is INACSL President, Desiree Diaz, and Conference Planning Committee Chair, Sabrina Cook. 

In this episode, we talk about the importance of collaboration and growth within the organization, the tagline of the conference, which is 'Celebrate, Innovate, and Grow', and the SIGs (Special Interest Groups) and RIGs (Regional Interest Groups) that attendees can join. 

They also discuss the keynote speakers for the conference, Kevin Pemberton and Rebecca Love. The conversation discusses nursing innovation and the importance of collaboration between nurses, engineers, and software designers. It also highlights the selection process for the Hayden Vanguard Award and the upcoming conference in Raleigh. The conference will feature sim tours, lightning rounds, poster sessions, and a book signing by Pam Jeffries. 

At the end, Desiree and Sabrina share their personal moments of realizing they were simulationists, such as hoarding plastic trays and shopping for moulage supplies with their families.
