Hi, I'm Lauren and I work for

0:02

Meijer. People always ask, why do I

0:04

shop there? It's because I can get

0:07

great quality and value in one stop.

0:09

Like this week's hottest deals on locally

0:11

grown asparagus and select cuts of pork.

0:14

Plus, I can earn 50 points per

0:16

gallon of gas pumped at any Meijer

0:19

Express through June 1st with Empercs. Meijer

0:21

has all I need and just one

0:23

stop. And the same low Meijer prices

0:25

in store and online. Exclusions

0:27

apply. See all deals in the Meijer app.

0:31

Up, bump

0:36

in the night, your heart

0:38

fills with dread. Probably a

0:40

murderer who wants you dead.

0:42

It could be a ghost,

0:44

a demon, or worse. Perhaps

0:46

you're the victim of a

0:49

witch's curse. It's hopeless, you're

0:51

doomed, you'd call a priest

0:53

if you could. You'd rather

0:55

just listen to who sinister

0:58

who. I'm

1:06

gonna kill you. All right,

1:08

welcome to another edition of Freaky Friday

1:10

where we tell your odd but true

1:12

stories. It's May, freaking 31st. Most everybody's

1:15

out of school if you're in the, you know,

1:17

traditional August to May kind of thing. So, enjoy

1:19

the summer. Well, I'm

1:22

gonna be honest about something and

1:25

I thought it was

1:27

June 1st. I forgot May had 31 days. So,

1:30

news to me, we

1:32

got one day left in May.

1:34

It was that April Ludgate on Parks and Rec. She's

1:36

like, 30 days has September, March,

1:38

June, end of them. They're like, nope, nope,

1:40

you skipped one. No, no, no, no, no.

1:42

Yeah, when she puts all of Ron's meetings

1:44

on that day. March 31st, she's like, it's

1:46

a fake day. So, May 31st, I'm declaring

1:48

it's also a fake day. So, if you

1:50

have stuff to do today, it doesn't exist.

1:52

You're allowed to have the day off. Now,

1:54

if you're born today, you may

1:57

not exist. No, you weren't. existence.

2:01

Ask yourself that. Ask yourself that. I mean, that's

2:03

what we ask ourselves when we stare up at

2:05

the moon at night and go, Hey, what is

2:07

it? Are we all going to be here? Are we going

2:09

to have this moon for the next 20 years? Yeah,

2:11

it's a very depressing show that we're taking on the road.

2:13

We just all

2:15

ponder our own mortality. You learn

2:18

this moon's been here, baby, and

2:20

it's not going anywhere.

2:22

Hopefully not. Not

2:24

at all. You can learn about

2:26

that and many other dark, mysterious,

2:28

spooky things on our full

2:31

moon energy tour. We're going to

2:33

be in Charlotte and Raleigh on June 11th and

2:36

12th, then Cincinnati, Cleveland, Toronto,

2:38

Kansas City, Oklahoma City, San

2:40

Diego, Phoenix, Las Vegas,

2:43

and rounding it out in Dallas. What else

2:45

do they get to learn on this show?

2:48

It's only our tour show. We don't do this

2:50

show on our main feed episode,

2:52

so you can only hear about it if you

2:55

come to the show. Yeah, you guys know it's

2:57

all about the dark side of the moon, what

2:59

looks up there, what really happened on the Apollo

3:01

missions, how it got there, where it

3:03

came from. McGruff will be there

3:06

so much more for all the

3:08

details, including dates, times, venues, and

3:10

more. Visit sinisterhood.com/live shows and get

3:12

your tickets before they're gone. Yeah, McGruff

3:15

will be there. Oh, he will. Oh, he

3:18

will be. Paris made a new promo

3:20

for us for the tour to just show how much fun we've been

3:23

having on stage and how much fun folks have had in

3:25

the audience. And he said, is Tommy all

3:27

right that I included the footage of McGruff

3:29

kind of getting close to Christy back there?

3:31

Because then he said hashtag Browns before hounds,

3:33

which was very funny. It's, you know, I

3:36

like it. And I'm I appreciate

3:38

the solidarity that really, it's

3:40

all of us against McGruff. I mean, none of

3:42

us are safe. We can't help

3:44

ourselves. Well, McGruff is locked tight right now in

3:46

the in the tour suitcase, I guess, unless somebody

3:49

wants a video. So yeah, he's like my bedroom,

3:51

I just saw him in there. He's

3:53

under hiding under the bed waiting for me. He's

3:56

waiting for you to go to bed. He's like, Oh, I

3:58

hope the power goes out. It's dark.

4:01

Yeah, McGruff's the secret is McGruff loves all these

4:03

power outages in DFW because he likes to lurk

4:05

in the dark. With

4:08

his little trench

4:10

coat on and just flash people. It's

4:12

perfect. That's exactly what the,

4:14

what is it, the ad council that invented

4:16

McGruff. That's why they invented him. Oh yeah,

4:19

it's insane. It wasn't

4:21

to keep kids safe, to teach

4:23

kids about stranger danger, don't do drugs. He

4:25

was so we could take him on a

4:28

tour and talk

4:30

about how he's horny for me.

4:33

And also that he's, he's a bad boy

4:35

now. Oh yeah, he is. He's taking a

4:38

turn. It's his retirement. That's what we always

4:40

say. That's McGruff for you. He's

4:42

a, well, he's taken a bite out of crime,

4:44

but some folks have had a brush with your

4:46

crime. This week we have quite a lineup of

4:48

stories. My goodness. I, this

4:50

week, yeah, we do. I mean,

4:53

we always have a lineup of stories that

4:55

are great, but these, I, you

4:59

always say to run the gamut,

5:02

but really this is stuff that

5:04

isn't things we, a lot of stories we

5:06

get and we're like, oh yeah, that's

5:08

happened to a lot of people. But some of

5:10

these, I feel like are unique experiences and

5:13

they're very creepy. So, so creepy and

5:15

near misses as well. So thanks to

5:18

everybody always who sends them in, but these

5:20

ones as well. Yes. I'm

5:22

Christy, my mother, and let's get freaky.

5:25

This first one is from Lynn. It's

5:28

called uninvited guests and content

5:30

warning. There's a brief mention

5:32

of attempted suicide. Hey,

5:36

I'm writing from Canada. Say that I love

5:38

what you do and endlessly appreciate the care you

5:40

put into your work. I know you've heard

5:42

this all before, so I won't get too

5:44

long winded. I just want to thank

5:46

you for always balancing your humor and

5:48

thoughtfulness with such grace, no matter the

5:50

subject. On to the story. To

5:54

begin with a little context. I'm

5:56

an only child and my parents traveled often.

5:58

They had me late in life. and were very

6:00

much of the school of thought that kids should

6:02

be more or less left to their own devices

6:05

as long as nothing caught fire. This

6:07

never changed, no matter how much trouble I

6:10

got into, and I got into

6:12

a lot of trouble, much

6:14

of which involved two old men

6:16

with volatile tempers and obsessive personalities.

6:20

In my teens, I had a pretty volatile

6:22

temper myself, and I always managed

6:24

to convince myself that was something I

6:26

needed. I would tell myself

6:28

that being able to quote, handle men

6:30

like that, made me tough. Looking

6:33

back, I definitely had reasons for thinking that

6:35

way, few of them good, but

6:38

I digress. While I

6:40

did get in trouble at home, it usually had

6:42

something to do with family drama, school

6:44

problems, or run-ins with the law. Whatever

6:47

turmoil was going on in my social life

6:49

didn't tend to follow me home because I

6:51

was rarely ever there. This

6:54

story is about the first time it did.

6:57

When I was 14, we moved into a new house.

7:00

It wasn't anything crazy, but it was big

7:02

enough that there were definitely a couple of

7:04

rooms that never really got used. Oftentimes

7:07

no one would enter them for months at

7:09

a time. We also

7:11

had an alarm system, which even

7:13

when disarmed, would beep every time

7:15

a ground floor door or window

7:18

was opened. Oftentimes it

7:20

would beep seemingly at random if one

7:22

of the windows wasn't shut properly and

7:24

the wind blew particularly hard. Normally

7:28

I didn't worry about it, but whenever my parents

7:30

would go away and I would come home to

7:32

house it and take care of the pets, it would

7:34

bother me a little. The first few

7:36

times I was staying alone in the house,

7:38

I'd check the doors, windows, and empty rooms

7:41

whenever the alarm beeped unexpectedly. But

7:43

it happened often enough that eventually I

7:46

just got used to it and assumed that

7:48

if someone was really creeping around outside of

7:50

the house, or even inside of

7:52

it, the dog would start barking. When

7:56

I was 15, my parents left to go camping for a

7:58

couple of weeks and told me to go to the

8:00

dog with them. I came

8:02

home as I usually did to look after the house

8:04

and the cat. I was in

8:06

the midst of a pretty messy breakup with a guy named

8:08

Braxton who was 23 at the time

8:11

and it felt like it had torn my whole

8:13

social circle apart so

8:15

I was actually looking forward to getting away from everyone

8:17

for a bit. The first couple

8:19

of nights were fine and then

8:22

I started noticing some strange things going

8:24

on in the house or

8:26

in my head. I wasn't sure

8:28

which. Lights were turned

8:30

off but I could have sworn I'd left on.

8:33

Doors were left open that I remembered

8:35

closing. There were small things I

8:37

was so sure had been moved from where I

8:39

last saw them but I couldn't be 100% certain.

8:43

All in all, a lot of things that were

8:45

noticeable enough to make me nervous when they happened

8:47

as often as they did but

8:50

too small to really do anything drastic about.

8:53

I'm a pretty proactive person so

8:55

I decided that before I let myself get scared

8:58

I would figure out if there was anything even to

9:00

be scared of in the first place. I

9:02

started taking pictures every time I left a room.

9:04

A bit paranoid but

9:07

it worked. I was

9:09

not imagining things. My

9:11

stomach immediately dropped into my ass

9:14

when I realized that something really

9:16

was wrong so I did

9:18

the first thing I could think of and called my

9:20

aunt. We

9:22

weren't super close but she only lived a

9:24

few blocks away and I knew she'd be

9:26

awake, probably a few glasses of wine deep,

9:29

and looking for someone to talk to. I

9:32

tried to act as normal as I could

9:34

while I quietly wrangled the cat. Not an

9:36

easy task but I couldn't live with myself

9:38

if I left her behind and something happened

9:40

to her and asked my

9:42

aunt if I was still coming over to

9:44

watch a movie. It was

9:46

a lame lie and she was definitely a

9:49

little confused but it was the first thing

9:51

that popped into my head and it was

9:53

enough for her to understand that something was

9:55

wrong. She immediately asked if I

9:57

needed her to come get me. Still

10:00

trying to act casual, I just told her not

10:02

to worry, but said I couldn't wait to get

10:04

there to tell her some stories about my friends.

10:07

I don't even remember what I told her. I just wanted

10:10

her to stay on the phone with me while I took

10:12

the keys and the car. Not legal,

10:14

but also not the first time, and

10:16

in this situation, I don't think anyone

10:18

could blame me. I

10:20

immediately locked the car doors once I was inside

10:23

with the cat. Waiting for

10:25

the garage door to open was agony.

10:28

I was terrified someone would open the

10:30

door to the house or be

10:32

standing in front of the garage door, but

10:34

the coast was clear. Unfortunately,

10:37

our driveway was also gated,

10:39

and it happened to have

10:41

the slowest motor in existence.

10:45

While I was waiting for the gate to open,

10:47

I stopped talking, only answering my aunt

10:50

when she asked if I was still there. Nervous,

10:52

I checked the rearview mirror, and

10:55

to this day, I could swear my

10:57

heart stopped, and one of

10:59

the narrow windows next to the front entrance, clearly

11:02

visible, was the silhouette of a

11:04

person. The window was made

11:06

from textured glass, so I couldn't make out

11:09

any precise details, but it was more than

11:11

enough, and I immediately took off and clipped

11:13

the gate on my way out, knocking the

11:15

side mirror off the car, and

11:18

leaving a pretty significant scratch along the

11:20

passenger door. Up until

11:22

that moment, I guess I'd still believed I

11:24

was probably just getting carried away and getting

11:26

scared over nothing. As freaked

11:28

out as I'd already been, the moment I

11:30

saw someone standing by the door, the eminence

11:33

of danger became real to me in a

11:35

way I had never experienced before.

11:38

Violence that came with anger was something

11:40

I knew, and something I

11:42

could predict to an extent, but

11:45

realizing that someone had been waiting

11:47

in that house, and I hadn't

11:49

even known, just felt so surreal

11:51

in the worst possible way. I

11:54

very immediately felt like a child, like

11:56

I didn't know what was going to happen next,

11:58

or what this person was going to do. might

12:00

do to me, and I was terrified of finding

12:03

out. I drove

12:05

to my aunt's and kept pretty outwardly calm.

12:07

She made me call the cops, who

12:09

I've never quite trusted and do even less

12:11

so now, but I'll admit that

12:13

they were helpful that night. Ultimately,

12:16

the invader was apprehended and turned

12:18

out to be, as I'm sure

12:20

you and everyone listening could have

12:22

predicted, my ex Braxton. He

12:25

was arrested on charges of unlawful entry

12:27

and criminal harassment. The cops

12:29

found he had hidden a length of rope, a

12:32

few bottles of piss that I assume he was

12:35

using instead of the toilet in order to keep

12:37

quiet, and some photos of

12:39

me and my friends that were covered

12:41

in cigarette burns and dried spit. At

12:44

his bail hearing, he was deemed to be

12:46

low risk enough that his parents had no

12:48

problem posting bail. Outrageous.

12:52

A week later, he tried to

12:54

complete suicide via self-immolation and

12:56

was committed to a psychiatric

12:58

facility. After a

13:00

lengthy stay in the hospital, proceedings were

13:03

delayed so he could be assessed. Between

13:05

navigating the legal system and some other

13:08

personal issues I was having, the

13:10

year that followed was the worst year of

13:12

my life. In the

13:14

end, Braxton was found culpable in sentence

13:16

to four years, and that

13:18

was with prior convictions. I'm

13:20

29 years old now, and even though

13:22

what happened is far enough in the past that

13:24

it almost feels like it happened to someone else

13:27

most days, I still can't

13:29

stomach living anywhere bigger or more

13:31

accessible than a two-bedroom apartment. Enough

13:34

floors up that absolutely no one is creeping

13:36

through my windows. I haven't

13:38

been back to the town I grew up in since

13:40

I left at 17. I don't

13:42

think I'll ever bother. Helping

13:45

this out felt like a relief in a

13:47

way I wasn't entirely expecting, so thank you

13:49

both for giving me a space to do

13:51

so and for listening when I did. Sincerely,

13:54

Lynn. P.S.

13:56

In case you were wondering, my

13:59

parents made me pay them back for the

14:01

damages to the car. We haven't

14:03

kept in touch. Oh,

14:05

Lynn, the Daniel LaPlante of it all.

14:08

That is the eeriest anytime there's a

14:10

hider in the house. Yeah. And the

14:12

moving of the things genius with the

14:14

pictures by the way, I was getting

14:16

us so smart. It's I

14:18

think I've talked before maybe on a Q&A

14:20

or something about the guy I follow

14:22

on tiktok that's diagnosed with schizophrenia and

14:25

he uses the camera on his phone.

14:28

Because he has really

14:30

scary visual hallucinations to see like, are

14:32

these real or not? And I'm like,

14:35

that's so smart. And then this kind of remind

14:37

me of this is like, yeah, take

14:39

a picture. Because what resource doesn't lie,

14:41

you go back in and be like, see,

14:44

I fucking knew that that teddy bear was

14:46

sitting in that chair a second ago. I'm

14:48

not going crazy. You're like, am

14:50

I haunted? Surely not. And especially when it is like,

14:52

oh, well, I might have just forgotten versus I have

14:54

evidence. And then it's like, I should call my aunt,

14:56

I should call an adult and get the fuck out

14:58

of here. So and then to see just like look

15:01

in your rear view mirror and see that silhouette. Yes,

15:03

you first of all, I'm fuck your

15:05

parents for making you pay for that. Yeah,

15:07

I would have crashed a lot worse. I'm

15:09

sure panicking and speeding away. Yeah, you've done

15:12

sound like your parents are

15:14

the most empathetic people. And I'm

15:17

very sorry. It sounds like you

15:19

had a rough growing up. But

15:21

it sounds like you're doing a lot

15:24

better now. Braxton, whose name has been

15:26

changed was a piece of

15:29

shit. And I'm wondering how long he

15:31

was in that house. That's so scary.

15:33

It really is. And especially, you know,

15:35

it's not like, well, maybe he was

15:37

just sleeping upstairs. You find out later,

15:39

which is very sad that he tried

15:42

to complete suicide, but through such a

15:44

violent way. And to just kind

15:46

of know what what he's capable of kind of

15:48

the length that he's willing to go to and

15:50

having rope in the house. And like, there's also

15:52

I think something to like burned photos of

15:55

the person when you're like stalking the person. It's like,

15:57

this is what I want to do to you. Because

15:59

I mean, we saw in the the Peggy Clinky case, you know, he

16:01

was damaging those photos of her like out of

16:03

rage. So that's just so eerie. And I'm so

16:05

glad you listened to your gut and got the

16:07

fuck out of there. And took the

16:10

cat. Took the cat. Yeah, it is hard to wrangle a

16:12

cat. So hard honestly, like, you

16:14

don't know. Yeah. And

16:17

he clearly was not

16:19

in his right mind. So, oh, man,

16:21

but just looking in your rear view mirror and

16:23

seeing a person, oh, that's

16:25

right out of a horror film. And you

16:27

lived it and I'm so glad you

16:29

got out of there safe and

16:32

that he got some

16:34

time for it. I hope he also got the help

16:36

he needed for his mental

16:38

and wellness. Yeah, for everything. And I'm glad

16:40

this, you know, it felt like a relief

16:43

getting it off the chest, hearing it and

16:45

stuff. And that's why we, we like to

16:47

21:30

and then later they found that there had

21:32

been like i'm a murder not far from

21:35

where they worth. A

21:37

dog seidler don't deserve A widow says that when

21:39

I was lucky for us and there's a person

21:41

21:46

21:48

21:50

I think you are very correct Dd that bag

21:52

21:55

21:57

21:59

That was. Echo Bag so. Many hiding in

22:01

22:03

22:05

22:14

22:16

22:18

22:20

did not know what he was up

22:23

22:25

that's a tiny dog early one put

22:27

up a sites don't fuck with Teddy

22:29

you know Teddy you. Can't underestimate Teddy

22:31

22:54

23:02

daddy and think tdd we're so glad

23:05

that she said says. Heather.

23:08

Your daughter's written in L A sweetheart think. This

23:12

is from anonymous and anonymous

23:14

rights. The time I sit

23:16

up against. Dick pics. Hello!

23:19

Mother. Hello Anti Christie? Is

23:21

that okay to call you Anti? Yes,

23:23

I'll save the must see bits for

23:25

the and and shop right into it.

23:28

About ten years ago I worked for

23:31

a man I'll call dick. Dick.

23:33

Was in his fifties. And firmly believed

23:35

a massage any. Tic. Had

23:37

a habit of chasing a Zambian with liquor.

23:40

Dick. Within texts low level female employees

23:43

to invite them to the lake

23:45

house and would often include a

23:47

dick pic. He. Thankfully never

23:49

sent one to me that I was

23:51

friends with several women who did receive

23:53

these messages. One. Employee tried to

23:55

turn a man. But. It backfired on her.

23:58

Dick. Was quote well respected?

24:01

In. Our field and this employ

24:03

had a reputation of being a

24:05

quote crazy party girl. She.

24:07

Was effectively blacklisted and. Cut

24:10

advance her career. Outside

24:12

of Dicks Dicks Pick, the dude was

24:14

just a straight up dick. He left

24:17

to intentionally only speak to my male

24:19

counterparts and would often pretend I wasn't

24:21

in the room at all. The.

24:24

Year I worked for him was one of the worse

24:26

years of my life. And then

24:28

surely he kicked me out of this

24:30

area by writing a letter to the

24:32

big boss complaining about me and how

24:34

I never wore makeup or high heels.

24:37

Said. I mention that my past. Employer was

24:39

a huge fan of the quote

24:41

good ole Boys system. I

24:43

was young and emotionally fragile the time

24:46

I was also. Dealing with the

24:48

family situation involving D V. So

24:50

I took the transfer without any

24:52

complaint. Fast. Forward to now

24:54

a workers' state agency and and pretty

24:56

happy work was. About a

24:58

month ago. I found out that Dick

25:01

had applied to work for my agency.

25:03

I immediately felt sick. He

25:06

applied for a completely different unit the my

25:08

current assignment soon. as a good chance I

25:10

would. Only ever see him once or twice a

25:12

year for training. I tried to

25:14

rationalize that it wouldn't be that bad and.

25:17

Surely I was over how he had treated

25:19

me. But. It just kept

25:21

eating. Not me. I.

25:23

Had zero contact with this man and the last

25:25

decade and I have no idea if he still

25:28

had. A photography hobby. I.

25:30

Felt so conflicted about saying something

25:33

to my agency about decks past

25:35

indiscretions. It just so happened.

25:37

We've been seeing a bunch of yells episodes

25:39

and the thought hit me. What?

25:41

What Heather insists he do. I

25:44

immediately heard Chrissy yelling, well he

25:46

can fuck off. And Heather's

25:48

certainly sang, i'll tell you what we're not

25:50

gonna do and that's what this nasty mans

25:52

and his dick to anyone else. I

25:55

went to work the next say. And spoke with one

25:57

of the supervisors. Thankfully.

25:59

This. They'll supervisor was extremely

26:01

appalled and immediately put a

26:04

stop to decks hiring process.

26:06

Add to give a more detailed interview

26:09

to the guy that does background checks

26:11

and after a couple of days I

26:13

was sold. They officially declined to hire

26:15

him. The. Immense relief I

26:17

felt cannot be put into words. I

26:19

knew that there would be a chance

26:21

that I wouldn't be believed or that

26:23

the severity might be downplayed. But.

26:26

It wasn't. I. Was thanks for

26:28

coming forward. I just

26:30

want to say thank you. I grew up

26:32

in an abusive household and often struggle with

26:34

a little voice in my head being a

26:36

toxic remnant of my childhood. I

26:39

started making a conscious effort to adopt

26:41

new little voices and y'all have made

26:43

the cut! It's. Been a

26:46

beautiful experience to have such kind

26:48

and supportive voices to drown out

26:50

the negativity. Whether. You realize

26:52

that are not. You make a

26:54

difference sending you all the love

26:56

and positive energy. Anonymous. P.

26:59

S. I've. Included a picture of my

27:01

daughter and the very pink cabinets and what

27:03

will soon be her bathroom. Life. Is

27:05

to sort of boring cabinets? Well.

27:07

Tell her Grandma through says Adnan

27:10

such as fl her her great

27:12

aunts and loves the an assistant

27:14

for a little girl's bathroom this

27:17

is precious is so they play

27:19

vibrant paint an additional be something

27:21

like. When. You're older, you're like in

27:23

that one house the house that i had the

27:25

pink faster and during the be a sadness at

27:28

the ad that's the cool. Thing to do

27:30

with them. Good for you and

27:32

good for you. Were saying

27:34

something that is such a hard thing

27:36

to do because there is a fear

27:38

that you not gonna be believes or

27:40

that you're gonna get. Blacklisted,

27:43

Yeah, we urge it's ruined, but.

27:46

I am. I feel honored that. you

27:48

have thought like what would we

27:50

do and you sit ups I

27:52

also to suicide note i. Feel

27:55

like I come across as

27:57

a much of us up.

28:00

than I intend to because any

28:02

time a person writes in with

28:04

like what would Chrissy do it's

28:06

usually probably tell them to go

28:08

fuck themselves. Well usually it's in kind it's not

28:11

like well when this Girl Scout came to my

28:13

door to buy cookies I thought what would Chrissy

28:15

do because they would have been like oh Chrissy

28:17

would say I'll buy cookies from you and I'll

28:20

give them to my family because you are off

28:22

with your thin mints. Yeah any

28:24

however when it is like people are like

28:26

I was faced with this horrible person or

28:29

a jackass or a dangerous situation you give

28:31

them and myself included when I had to

28:33

return stamps yesterday I was like if

28:36

I was Chrissy you'd just go back in there you don't have

28:38

to be rude you could just be firm.

28:40

Turns out they were too expensive and I

28:42

was overcharged yada yada yada I got a

28:44

refund but truly it is kind of helpful

28:46

to have that like hmm like chutzpah behind

28:48

you so in this case I think that

28:50

you I agree with both of our voices

28:53

and I always appreciate when someone knows me so

28:55

well to be like tell you what we're not gonna do

28:57

I got this guy in a dick anymore so

28:59

thank you for getting both of us because I

29:01

think in this case you would absolutely be like

29:03

tell him to fuck off get out of here

29:05

you're not gonna get a job here yeah that's

29:07

right guy yeah I think if

29:09

you were HR you probably like oh my official

29:11

recommendation is fuck this guy and

29:14

mine is too so who knows you're

29:16

out right I've loved you that

29:18

your supervisor was a dude and still

29:20

was you know he was

29:22

a good one so good for that

29:25

and yes all joking aside

29:27

I'm honored that you would even

29:29

consider what I might do and that might give

29:31

you some encouragement to go say something

29:34

but me too you will you

29:36

did it yourself you're you're the

29:38

hero in this situation and you

29:40

saved a lot of women a

29:43

lot of grief and trauma because you

29:45

stood up and said something so for

29:47

sure clap on both

29:50

of us yeah you're right I'm

29:53

Happy that your supervisor I Like that

29:55

We're seeing that like morality and rightness

29:57

is no longer divided along gender. Wind

30:00

of like what's the good old boys club say

30:02

the know it's wrong. He's a guy we're going

30:04

to be like cool about him. It's like i

30:06

don't give a fuck what your gender is. Don't

30:08

send your Jinnah, tell you that anybody says snow

30:10

as they were like let me get said genitalia

30:12

and then go for it. If you want to

30:14

use the don't ask unless someone's metics you don't

30:16

I mean I think we are. We're get into

30:18

a place for were dislikes. well that's gross. doesn't

30:20

give a shit who yar. I

30:22

also love this guy.

30:24

Five. Mile. Nothing ever happens.

30:26

Nothing ever happens when I do something.

30:29

30:33

Anonymous. From that other job

30:35

she works there hum She finally

30:37

got me and said. Yes, yes

30:39

he did. You can't run from you're

32:00

from Dana and the subject line is

32:02

my connection to this week's true crime

32:04

headlines. Good morning to my

32:06

favorite Sinister Ladies. When. I heard this

32:09

week's true crime headlines I knew I had to

32:11

write in. Directly. After college

32:13

in another lifetime, twelve. Or so

32:15

years ago. I worked as an assistant store.

32:17

Manager for a large clothing

32:19

retailer in Indianapolis. Before.

32:22

You got a permanent store placement. I bounced

32:24

around to help out different stores. After

32:27

my first few days that one of these new stores.

32:29

We were in a managers meeting speaking about

32:31

one of our associates. And some and

32:33

looked at me and said well you know who

32:35

his brother is right? And

32:37

only met this particular so see at once or

32:40

twice. A client, older gentleman,

32:42

Didn't. Seem to respond well to authority. But then

32:44

again, who wants to listen to a twenty three

32:46

year old. But. His brother

32:49

was none other than her. Bow My

32:51

Sir. At the time I'd never

32:53

heard of him were the case is connected to him.

32:55

He died when I was seven. But.

32:57

Naturally, I spent the whole evening

32:59

going down several rabbit holes. I

33:02

definitely think the sparked my interest in true

33:04

crime, although I had been watching. Unsolved Mysteries

33:06

since I was a child. It

33:08

was so odd to be in contact

33:10

with someone whose family had caused so

33:12

much pain. I. Honestly felt bad

33:14

for him. As you said before,

33:17

the families of killers are victims to.

33:19

With. Such a unique last name. I'm sure it was

33:22

hard for him to ever. Escaped his brothers them

33:24

for me. I still think

33:26

about this case pretty frequently, especially with all

33:28

the developments of the identities of the people

33:30

he killed. I. Even driven past

33:32

his farm once or twice as I'm still

33:34

in the area and. A total weirdo. Even.

33:37

Know it sounds like it's an impossible task.

33:40

I. Do hope that one day they are

33:42

able to identify all ten thousand bone

33:44

fragments and bring closer to those men

33:46

and their families. Thanks for

33:48

reading! Keep it creepy Dana. This.

33:52

Is the as is the case

33:54

is currently going on in the

33:57

news because. Ten

33:59

thousand bone. They've been found on

34:01

the farm and they're slowly identifying

34:03

things. Yeah, one by one, the

34:05

county coroner has asked if anyone

34:07

had a loved one go missing

34:09

in Indianapolis in the late Nineteen

34:11

eighties early Nineteen nineties, when. Her

34:13

bow, My sir. They call Nice Seventy Strangler.

34:15

There's different names for him, but they found

34:17

such a significant amount of human remains on

34:19

his farm out there. If you have not

34:21

been the have fallen that are, you haven't

34:23

seen those headlines. And. They're asking

34:26

for familial samples to try to cross

34:28

reference them. And even identify victims

34:30

which has delivered Know how many victims

34:32

that comprises. They have a listen and

34:34

know identify. Body and Co Will that wasn't

34:36

even on our initial lists. So the list

34:38

is no longer vet. You're right Dana,

34:40

that that last name is is only

34:43

in Indianapolis. Yeah, just out of the

34:45

victims are in Indianapolis. And then it's pharmacists

34:47

outside of it like. That that

34:49

know everybody? A rough one. Yeah that

34:51

honestly you don't want to have to

34:53

like deny your. Own heritage but I

34:55

might go and change my name is that

34:57

with the case you know it's like a

35:00

moral said is so does seem to never

35:02

won their knows about it that. We

35:04

covered that recently on true crime had

35:06

minds if you want more information because

35:09

it is a wild story, everything from

35:11

his. Planning. A human skull? That's

35:13

what set it off to. We.

35:17

Looked that there sooner. And six bones and

35:19

the human. Body so that averages out

35:21

to about forty eight people at

35:23

land. About twelve I think have

35:25

been identified so far as and

35:27

like that Auto So. The

35:29

yeah, you're right, that's an eerie thing to be Zach

35:31

close to someone in. Scope man your love like

35:33

we all read about it in the news.

35:36

Been you are this was your life. And

35:38

like he said, nobody likes listen to a

35:40

Twenty Two how we had to deal with

35:42

that To Will you think. Well. as

35:44

he just some the way is because

35:47

that's him and yes also got some

35:49

problems or is because of all. The

35:51

trauma he's endured being the brother of a

35:54

serial killer and that. Mammoth. Suman

35:56

fucks you up. Yeah, I can imagine

35:58

everybody's like clamoring to hang out. The

36:00

and beer mat and read when you're at though

36:02

my sir in the Indianapolis area so that is

36:04

very tough but. Ah, agree with

36:06

you Dave Dana, it sounds impossible, but

36:08

I hope one day there will be

36:10

every single. Fragment will be accounted for and I

36:12

think that's what they're working towards. All that other crews

36:14

that are working on that so god see the them

36:16

and. Ah, if anybody like a

36:19

said had a loved one missing in Indianapolis

36:21

around that time, look into it because they're

36:23

asking for family samples. Well.

36:25

Thank you so much Dana! Sinister.

36:29

Have the right back. Really

36:33

Kings new lemonade. Minor procedure them

36:36

and a memory a movie same

36:38

way. Try strawberry guava lemonade as

36:41

a refresher over a power up

36:43

in a. For

36:47

a blueberry lemonade. Smooth cleared it

36:49

up. In your. Fruit.

36:52

Juice for real sipping good summer. Dot

36:56

at All Smoothie Kings Noom

36:58

Lemonade might offer unlimited. Data.

37:04

The. Sexiness from Korea. And. The

37:06

subject line is light as a feather, stiff

37:08

as a board, Hey yo!

37:10

Recent is transplant to the Dfw area

37:12

and I'm so glad I found your

37:14

podcast! I'm returning student. Forty

37:17

seven isn't too old in a

37:19

radiology technologists program. At. My

37:21

hospital site. We attend two days a week

37:23

with class and lab the other days. On

37:26

Tuesday my to classmates and I sewed up

37:28

and one of the text was. Eager to

37:31

pull up and intake report from the prior

37:33

weekend. so us. To summarize

37:35

it, a welfare check was called on

37:37

a man who is living temporarily at

37:39

a hotel. He was definitely

37:41

out of it. It seemed okay when law enforcement

37:43

spoke to him so they went on their way.

37:46

To days later another welfare call came

37:49

in for the same man. This.

37:51

Time the police had to request entry

37:53

when he didn't answer. The. Authorities

37:56

heard water running, but the main room

37:58

was empty. Found

38:00

the man. Standing. Upright naked

38:02

in front of the bathroom mirror.

38:05

Completely. Unresponsive to them,

38:07

They. Attempted a stern or rob and minister

38:09

does not can and verse said. And

38:12

the man's condition remains the same. All

38:15

of this vital signs were normal except for

38:17

high blood sugar and they finally stood of

38:19

back ford behind him to lower him down

38:21

for the stretcher. Those. Are

38:24

all the details included in the report

38:26

except for the last line which read.

38:28

He amassed reports. A weed you board was on

38:31

the coffee table. insert. Screaming

38:33

success of here. No.

38:35

One had any follow up information for us, and

38:37

he was discharged by the time we were told

38:40

about it, so I couldn't even do a quick

38:42

walk by, whistling casually as I pushed the portable

38:44

x ray machine down the hall and accidentally entering

38:46

his room to see what the hell was going

38:48

on. So. What do

38:50

we think? Ladies, Demon. Possession. Sleep

38:52

over game gone wrong. Just

38:55

the usual drugs are bad and K

38:57

story. My. Best guess is

38:59

drugs plus leaderboard plus scared himself.

39:02

In The Mirror Sequels Psychotic Break

39:04

But who the fuck knows this

39:06

point? All. I know is you

39:08

couldn't pay me enough to work night shift on

39:10

his floor, running the rest city? come running down

39:12

the hallway, flipped over backwards on all fours. All

39:15

our the exorcist. Thanks. For

39:17

reading this A love your vibes and appreciate

39:19

all the research, compassion, dignity and humor that

39:21

goes into the work you do. Oh

39:25

man this is and when I

39:27

hear stories like this, we always

39:30

wanna. Thank our first responders her.

39:32

Like this. I'm like. I'm.

39:35

Just not equipped to deal with something

39:37

like a close this situation I feel

39:39

like maybe, but there are many where

39:41

I'm like, no, I'm not cut out

39:43

for something like that, but when you

39:45

can't. Get. Through to some

39:48

lion and there's a catatonic but standing

39:50

up like what do you do it

39:52

like that is the answer. Is you

39:54

get aboard? You. Lay him back in, you

39:56

take him out of there. But that's something that.

39:59

Zoo. They train you for that is a

40:01

economists figure it out on the fly like everyone's

40:04

like whoa. Let's. Put our

40:06

heads together Has that some?

40:09

At that. But. That's so scary to

40:11

walk in and might. Their.

40:14

Assists. The. Lights are on or

40:16

nobody's home where he's live in some. Something

40:18

in his head yeah it's like so

40:20

eerie to have died nonresponsive this that

40:22

they're either of the is one thing

40:24

in there like collapsed on the floor

40:26

and their eyes. Are open and

40:28

that nonresponsive or third. Standing.

40:31

Up and responsive bit like to be like

40:33

standing at Steger. like how are you able

40:35

to support your body's buy it when I'm

40:37

trying to interact to the your case? Is

40:39

there any? Is there only one entity and

40:41

you is exists years or like a demon

40:43

and like what's in their words as being

40:45

like are like what else can we do

40:47

because they're. Just like will, we got a. Administer

40:50

whatever drugs that we see, you know, think

40:52

that might counteract what's going on here and

40:54

them when that doesn't work. like. I

40:56

guess we just take him outta here

40:58

and go test image know that the

41:01

weegee boards on the table? I worry

41:03

that that my best guess? Would

41:05

be also drugs plus weegee

41:08

board plus. Do is

41:10

stare at himself into a psychotic

41:12

break or some sort of ah.

41:14

I definitely think drugs were were

41:16

probably involve. But what a scary

41:18

place to be where you're on

41:21

drugs. The. Plane with the weeds,

41:23

you bored by yourself and then the

41:25

next thing you know you wake up

41:27

in a hospital because you had some

41:29

sort of experience. In the bathroom for hate

41:31

you like freaked out a your own there's i

41:33

think. To. We talk about that on

41:35

an episode or maybe we're watching something about

41:37

it. Were like a Target about Sarah Next

41:39

your own reflection for long enough I think

41:42

it might. Oh yeah, the Midnight Game episode.

41:44

Maybe for some like that where it really

41:46

you can like go into with psychosis. From

41:48

doing that not to mention of yeah drugs to it

41:50

as well. But that is this overall such

41:52

earth at for the the people that had a walk

41:54

in on that's how the worse he of is. It

41:56

sounds like he was discharged day or two later so

41:59

he wasn't you know. Regularly Ah yes, injured

42:01

or whatever was going on, but that's the

42:03

kind of thing that you tell. Your friends

42:05

about that around drinks after work likes. Like

42:07

to go get a guy that does it

42:09

Did did himself into a weed you board

42:11

spell against the mirror. Me was fully naked.

42:13

Snagged a list is why does this other

42:15

stuff as a board him outta here Yeah.

42:18

I. Recently saw tic

42:20

Toc. I think

42:22

I liked it so we

42:25

will probably get but it

42:27

was a group of adults.

42:30

Doing live feather ciphers the

42:32

board. With the guy was sitting in

42:34

a chair and there were four people.

42:36

Around him and they eat slight.

42:39

If. You like put your hands together

42:41

like this? Okay, like if you're

42:43

making. A guy

42:45

named them on yeah James volunteered for the

42:47

and the picture. We have done singer gun

42:50

a thing with both hands together so they

42:52

put. Their. Index

42:54

fingers that were together like under.

42:57

His legs and under his arm pits

42:59

and try to list them. it didn't

43:01

happen. And then the girl the it

43:04

was like the caption was like this

43:06

party trick commences ever one that I'm

43:08

some kind of which So then she

43:11

was like okay everybody take your hands

43:13

off and now. We're. Going

43:15

on one by one go around first pick

43:17

your right hand over his head and like

43:19

everyone had their right hand over his head

43:21

and than the same order everyone when put

43:23

their left hand so is like sacking like

43:26

this and then in the same order they

43:28

took him away. And then

43:30

she said okay now ready put your hands

43:32

like together and we're gonna lift to get

43:34

on three And they say that Putin list

43:37

is a matter that share were they have

43:39

flipped out Everyone in the comments was talking

43:41

about the science says it which I never

43:43

understood as a kid I don't know. We

43:46

always played light. Of light as a

43:48

feather ciphers board, it never works

43:50

out. but apparently. The. Second

43:52

time, you do it. Your.

43:54

Body already knows the amount of

43:56

the amount of like force. That

43:58

she should be using. Because you've already

44:00

done at once. not even consciously. Just like.

44:03

Subconsciously and also. You.

44:05

Have all now like collectively focus

44:07

your attention and to kind of

44:09

one mind where you're like. Okay,

44:12

we're all gonna be doing this at the same time.

44:14

My. Body already knows I just did it so

44:16

knows how hard to do it. And then that's

44:19

why it works. am I would when I

44:21

hope said in. The comments. I could be wrong

44:23

there's I think there were some scientific word years

44:25

so but I don't remember what it was that

44:27

was like damn that's fascinating. Yeah we got less

44:29

marvelous or somebody. oh right. And are some mail

44:31

Gm and on done Instagram and tell us what.

44:34

Know what the real the real deal as the details

44:36

like that that that makes total sense in my very

44:38

much in line with like. You

44:40

think like that? Kind.

44:43

Of mindset would like a team mindset where it's

44:45

like all the sudden we were throwing the ball

44:47

to each other and not even looking. and it's

44:49

like we were all like psychically linked. I'm a

44:51

thing your cycle lanes I think you're just isn't

44:53

written. Reflexes are like looking for each other so

44:55

much they are like only have to look to

44:57

my side to know. That they're lifting like one two

44:59

three like. feel your like. All. Feel

45:02

in it by an advertisement sitting that your

45:04

body Also rd know it's like how much

45:06

foresees to them. Why? Like it's easier for

45:08

you to do it. I never thought about

45:10

that. Yeah. We tried to play it as a

45:12

kid but I never got lifted. And then at one

45:15

particularly mean slumber party they were like you're too fat

45:17

to be the one. That's it so I need to

45:19

try it. So whatever. I well as that on one

45:21

hand, because as a science says, it doesn't matter how

45:23

his you are. But as it could work if

45:25

everyone else is doing their jobs. As as

45:27

on them yes he was not that others have a

45:29

kid is the you idiots were working together so fast

45:32

that of on you and not me But all that

45:34

to the and I like it says like I like

45:36

watching those have a video The deathly were had the

45:38

so to me and and will link it in the

45:40

senators. I. Want to know our especially if you

45:43

could do it on other people. Make him think here which

45:45

come on. We gotta start trying that. Yeah.

45:47

We'll definitely linked it so everyone can

45:49

see it and. Didn't

45:51

go and do it. Just make amendment right

45:54

air and tell us what happened or to

45:56

sinister video I love that! Yeah I wanna

45:58

see like how. many people are like Damn,

46:00

I did work. We could do it. No

46:02

cheating. It's gotta be for real. Good. It has to

46:04

be real Well, thank you very much

46:07

Cory and you're right. 47 isn't too

46:09

old any dream can happen anytime. It's

46:11

awesome That's amazing. Go back to school.

46:13

I Whenever

46:15

I see those things it's like Morgan Freeman

46:17

was in his 50s when he landed his

46:19

first gig or whatever it is and all That stuff.

46:21

I'm like everybody can just

46:24

do whatever they want It doesn't matter how

46:26

old you are. So good for you for going back

46:28

and pursuing something like that Yeah, seize the day

46:30

you're doing it Minister

46:33

home will be right back Well,

46:38

this last one is from Betty and

46:40

the subject line is two hands one

46:42

jar. Hey guys, love the show

46:44

It's been my hyper fixation for about

46:46

three months now I listen morning noon

46:48

and night and I think I'm somewhere in January

46:50

2024 right now hilarious Fascinating

46:53

masters of your craft. I applaud you both.

46:56

I have to confess I've skipped a lot of

46:58

the freaky Friday episodes for the meteor deep dives

47:01

But I have caught the odd one here and there So

47:04

I thought why not throw my hat in the

47:06

ring and share this weird story with you

47:08

and possibly the entire world As

47:11

we know they're listening When I

47:13

was about 19, I was experiencing homelessness in

47:15

central London for 18 months I

47:18

had been raised in a violent and abusive

47:20

Christian cult all my life and was eventually

47:22

kicked out when I got old enough to

47:25

be Difficult I lived with

47:27

a group of other unhoused people and we squatted

47:29

in old buildings that were out of use Most

47:32

of the time I lived in a small flat

47:34

on a housing estate which had been entirely

47:36

empty for a while The council

47:38

had moved out all the residents in order to

47:41

knock the six or seven blocks down and build

47:43

in its place a new development Unfortunately,

47:46

they couldn't afford to do that yet. So

47:48

it's that empty instead until we made use

47:51

of it. I Had

47:53

been visiting a friend at a different squad

47:55

across the city one day and this place

47:58

was incredible. The house was Victorian

48:00

and condemned as unsafe, but

48:02

the residents had painstakingly constructed floors

48:05

from scraps of wood they'd found

48:07

and bunk beds from scaffolding pipes.

48:10

It was a real Peter Pan turnout, and I

48:12

loved it, so I visited as often as I

48:14

could. On this day,

48:16

we were sitting outside, tending to vegetable gardens,

48:19

when some other squatters arrived and asked for

48:21

help in clearing out a new building they

48:23

had found. We rallied the

48:25

troops, got on our bikes, and cycled to

48:27

the new location, which turned out

48:29

to be an old railway signal box under

48:31

a bridge. The small building

48:34

was split in two down the middle by a

48:36

half wall, and one side had already been cleared

48:38

out. The other side

48:40

was full of junk, which people were

48:42

slowly moving outside. Old

48:44

chairs, bits of railway equipment,

48:47

miscellaneous boards and bricks. After

48:50

an hour or so, I went to sit outside

48:52

and smoke, and I was just settling

48:54

into my chair when someone called from inside for

48:56

us all to come and see what they'd found.

48:59

These places always turn up old treasure,

49:01

never anything valuable in my experience, but

49:03

very interesting junk and relics of time

49:05

gone by were commonplace, so I was

49:08

keen to see what it was. I

49:11

walked into the building to find a few people

49:13

stood around a large mason jar on the

49:15

floor. It was obvious

49:17

nobody wanted to touch it, but I

49:19

couldn't yet see why. When

49:22

I did, my blood ran cold. It

49:25

was a pair of hands in

49:27

clear or very slightly tinged liquid,

49:30

and my first thought was that this was

49:32

surely some sort of prop. There's

49:34

no way there's a guy running around with

49:36

no hands and nobody's noticed, right? Right?

49:41

Wrong. It was, indeed, a pair of

49:43

hands, but they were two left

49:45

hands. Against my better

49:47

judgment, I opened the jar and took

49:49

a whiff. Still not convinced

49:51

that this was real. It

49:53

stank like the strongest vinegar, and

49:55

I quickly closed it again, disgusted.

49:58

The skin on the hands, The very strange.

50:01

It. Was perfectly smooth. All.

50:04

The usual thumbs and wrinkles you would

50:06

expect to see on an adult hand

50:08

were gone. And the fingers

50:10

curled strangely like a bunch of

50:12

bananas, rather than bending at the

50:15

knuckles. This. Only added

50:17

to my suspicion. As surely as

50:19

someone had made this, they would have gone to

50:21

more effort to make it look like the real

50:23

deal. assuming. Ne like me

50:25

wouldn't have much of a reference for

50:27

pickled hands. As. We turned

50:29

the jar around. We noticed a. Label

50:31

that read. Be. This never

50:34

prosper. With. Two Years written

50:36

below it. I can't remember

50:38

exactly what years they were, but I think

50:40

they were from the early two thousand. We.

50:43

All looked at each other. Convince. Them

50:45

that this was the real deal

50:47

and sitting our pants over. What To.

50:50

do? To. This belong to

50:52

some mobster, a villainous, caped

50:54

crusader dishing out vigilante justice.

50:56

Or. Was at the property of and

50:59

unhinged psychopath who could reappear to claim it

51:01

and any second. We. Know

51:03

over through the night and in the morning we

51:05

were divided on whether we should turn it into

51:07

the authorities or. None.

51:09

Of us had a great report with police

51:11

so we say even those of us. With

51:13

no previous records did not fancy our

51:16

chances given the circumstances. I

51:18

will never forget to stinging irony

51:20

of the police turning out to

51:22

forcibly as iq tests at that

51:24

exact moment. After. Say here

51:27

that we are no strangers to aggressive and

51:29

often violent of vixens by the police. They.

51:32

Did not view us as create is

51:34

ingenious young and house people to trying

51:36

to survive in a harsh city that

51:38

was not ready for us. I

51:40

think they probably saw it more as

51:42

a nuisance again. And drug addled

51:44

teenage wasters collectively. Choosing to take our

51:46

futures in favor of sticking it to the man.

51:50

When. We looked at of the gate and saw. A gang

51:52

of angry officers taking an angle grinder to

51:54

the security. Chains The matter was

51:56

immediately and unanimously settled. There

51:59

was no way they the not use the find

52:01

against us. At. Least we thought as much as I

52:03

have kids. So. We wiped the

52:05

jar down and secretly place it back under

52:07

the pile of junk it had come from.

52:10

We. Then peacefully surrendered the buildings

52:12

and disappeared into the early London

52:14

missed. I thought

52:16

many, many times over the last

52:19

fifteen years about that char. Who.

52:21

Own those hands to cut them off.

52:24

Who put them there? By. Since

52:26

I will never have answered. I

52:28

returned to London years later, but I've never been

52:30

able to find the building again. In.

52:32

A city that's constantly changing and

52:34

developing. Nothing. Stays the same for

52:36

long. Was. It ever found. Or.

52:39

Is it fair to this day? collecting dust,

52:42

I. Know that given the option again I would turn

52:44

it in. The. Years have brought me that

52:46

much wisdom at least. But. I would love

52:48

to know if anyone else ever found it in did

52:50

the right thing. At the very least,

52:52

it makes a great. Campfire Story. And.

52:55

I suppose that's all I can take from it. Thanks.

52:57

For listening and maybe relaying the story,

53:00

I hope it's gives you out as

53:02

much as it still does. Me: Was

53:05

gave me out unscathed. Person or a

53:08

scheme has had a really leaves. Leaves

53:10

Betty, I cannot blame any

53:12

of you at all. No

53:14

with her not saying something

53:16

because given the circumstances, I

53:18

think that you're correct that they would have

53:20

use. That against you and wouldn't try

53:23

to find it on your as

53:25

yeah remedies: getting arrested, or if

53:27

not every one. So sad. You

53:29

know that. He

53:31

did with said to do when you put it

53:33

safer going in there any I'm sure that you

53:35

know they dig around or whatever or like he

53:37

said eventually when. Like a construction through comes in

53:39

their to lengthen. On the Downs. Ah, they

53:42

might have found it by it. If

53:44

anyone has any connections in London or

53:46

London law enforcement you've ever heard about

53:48

this. Detached. Hands and Jar

53:50

Vinegar. It's a real box day since please Sinister

53:52

had process is email.com let us know because I

53:55

mean I'm fat say I don't know if it

53:57

is the My Michael oh that was the X

53:59

Y Z. And they were well known for.

54:01

Putting. Off the hands of whatever this cartel or

54:03

wherever that. The at least a little bit of

54:06

an answer for Betty and you and me

54:08

and ever when listening says like what the

54:10

fuck is up with those his yeah the

54:12

seas never. Prosper and the dates

54:14

makes it seem like it was

54:16

definitely as. Punishment

54:19

of the more I

54:21

didn't know. That. Hands

54:24

can in turn that way

54:26

when they're. Pickles.

54:28

Lad as we don't really have

54:30

who they baby and like formaldehyde

54:32

or something to keep them ah.

54:35

I. Also want to say. I.

54:37

Don't know if I've ever met someone

54:39

braver Betty Dungeon. Betty who with a

54:42

nice screw and a mason jar

54:44

to these hands in take a

54:46

with just to see if it

54:48

was a proper nice to take

54:50

his assess assess yeah only. Aerial

54:52

that throwing gods. As well

54:54

as hairs are since forever or early

54:57

as someone passes other. Something happened to them.

54:59

no way come right back as like smelling salts

55:01

and idea that he don't wake up you just.

55:03

Slap. Him with one of the

55:05

hands. Yeah, that's yes that is to

55:07

sniff it though. But your nino eighteen

55:10

nineteen. you're pretty brave. but I i

55:12

think that a person who's gonna. Have

55:15

a hand in a jar that they've clearly

55:17

putting themselves. I don't know that it's. Probably

55:20

like medical grade formaldehyde, so. I

55:22

have any pro. it could be vinegar

55:24

like may relax. Why it looked like

55:26

that you look and yes, not like

55:29

that for a wet specimen and it's

55:31

a in fact a homemade said oh

55:33

yeah, it's cousin leaders illegal Here is

55:35

the way they call those things. Feel

55:38

what specimens. Set. Up

55:40

a little coming up with a new way

55:42

to describe so please like eight it's I

55:44

went away at small A that is learn

55:46

that is a battery Very. I really

55:49

he adds as. Mad

55:51

as what a story that's not me

55:53

has has a very unique experience. You

55:55

know what his father's in the people

55:57

that were there with you. Bad day.

56:00

The fundamental my happens to people. you

56:02

don't just find a juror a hand

56:04

to. This. I am so lucky

56:06

with his Mind you, yeah both

56:08

would never use the question why

56:10

why the left both times where

56:12

their I say they may be

56:14

like you're forcing someone now select.

56:17

Use. Their non dominant hand for things. Maybe

56:19

so or it's like a cut the left or

56:21

off the first time you owe me and I'll

56:23

come back for the right one the second time.

56:25

Know meets? ah imagine there's probably a cassette a

56:27

Fever has any insight into. If this is like

56:30

a common thing with like ma feel. So there's

56:32

that yeah of them like that or cartels as

56:34

it does sound like that kind of brutal violence

56:36

of they're not going to call the cops on

56:38

each other for stealing. you know they're gonna do

56:41

their own justice out. or it was someone that

56:43

was. Working. For them,

56:45

Cs stole. You know

56:47

internal on it does not sell

56:49

health or upon his fights. I

56:51

would also be curious once all

56:53

of that was cleared out. If

56:55

more jars were found right it's

56:57

like I don't think he just

57:00

had. also you physicists the to

57:02

to I elected probably not no

57:04

one season one. I think

57:06

and then like you're willing to. At

57:08

Sars only so big snow. If you have

57:10

more than I mean you might have a

57:12

bunch of mason. Jars that are an aquarium.

57:15

it's semi what eager for fancy on

57:17

that. a bucket for go bucket. then

57:19

you go like a cooler than aquariums.

57:21

And. Then it's a pool and they're. Like you gotta stop

57:23

others is is too many hands on. like I'll

57:25

tell you when I've had enough. Ah, By

57:28

I agree with the not calling back then

57:30

I think you're right if you find out

57:33

like an adult with agency and knowing till

57:35

I defend yourself. but if you're nineteen year

57:37

old person experiencing homelessness at the time like

57:40

they're not going to come in and be

57:42

like you just have. This is a nice

57:44

if he likes always on he. Will

57:47

take you down right now. Give you

57:49

a parade now. you're probably gonna. Spend

57:52

the night in jail the very least. So if

57:55

the I get. Convicted of some matter

57:57

come out our morterero as so

57:59

yeah. And then it's like. Becomes

58:01

a huge headline Yes,

58:04

announce he's fine hands

58:06

and. Abandoned

58:08

building yeah think you're laying kind with find.

58:10

I think it would be like on how

58:12

scenes cutting off limbs question mark wherever they

58:15

stop and year later we don't do that.

58:17

We found it is like without know that

58:19

is a slab payments So you did the

58:21

right thing. You absolutely did and. Yeah,

58:23

I hope for our listeners safe as we

58:26

have a broad base of. Folks that listen

58:28

to this some was ill at ease expertise

58:30

will kick in and give us some semblance

58:32

of any at services for you by. Also,

58:34

it's. Different. From what

58:36

we've been talking about. but I

58:39

really love that's this community of

58:41

others you lived with, Lake and

58:43

I think in communities like this.

58:46

Where everyone's kind of struggling.

58:49

Everyone has each other's backs and like you

58:51

would drop everything. The block All right. we're

58:53

getting on our bikes, ride never to help

58:55

or other friends with him. Your you? You

58:57

all know what it's like a mural there

58:59

for each other so I really love that.

59:01

Like he thought it might not be the

59:03

family you were born into but a family

59:06

that you know was chosen for you. are

59:08

you chose them say help you through that

59:10

specific time in your life yet says a

59:12

lot to say. Like we found a new

59:14

place and we need a hand and it's

59:16

like okay. Everybody was immediately. Their dislike bare

59:18

your neighbors burden within. Really need a summons?

59:21

Oh, I'm sorry I didn't mean that. I

59:23

really. Apologize. Normally I'd tell Tommy to

59:25

cut that out, but it was such

59:27

a natural. Accidental thing that I did that

59:29

I'm gonna leave. It increases laughing at me. You

59:31

are welcome to I genuinely did. I

59:34

was thinking more person will guide out

59:37

Yeah well. they got two. Hands. So

59:39

I was thinking in a pure way. By

59:41

a who he right better than one. To.

59:43

Its sur hood all measures. The.

59:46

Other day L A was like. What?

59:48

If you cut off. Your hand and you just

59:50

gotta that doctors to put a robot hands on

59:52

it and I was like well in the

59:54

future I don't know that I would want

59:56

to do not necessarily He was like why.

59:59

Genuinely. Why would you want to Robot

1:00:01

hand? I'm like. Well. This is my hand

1:00:03

and. Literally. Attached Effects: Oh

1:00:05

she's like I did a robot hand. I

1:00:07

get a robot Hindu. All sorts of things

1:00:10

like with this is the Future generations ever

1:00:12

get hilarity. Yeah denounces like why do I

1:00:14

have a dumb regular human hand when I

1:00:17

got a call once that suits lasers out

1:00:19

of then you're like oh my God She

1:00:21

said lasers Hell yes. Let's

1:00:24

see. What

1:00:27

that was? I who are citizens are

1:00:29

lazy. That reflects. That

1:00:32

could have a so funny. Wow.

1:00:34

Now him down to the. Wherever
