On this episode I talk to Amanda, a recently minted PhD grad, who studies glaucoma. We learn about the anatomy of the eye, how glaucoma works, the different types of glaucoma, some risks factors for glaucoma and the symptoms of glaucoma. We also get in the weeds of her work on understanding one of the mechanisms of glaucoma. We talk about the NSF REU congrats to the recent NSF GRFP winners!
