Hello Friends, and welcome to the 4th Episode in Season 2 of my literary podcast, Something Like Love. As usual, I've picked a theme - this week it's "mother" - and I cover a song, share some writing, and end with a meditation of some sort.  It's all a bit random, and I'm no professional musican, but I like the idea of mixing it up and connecting with y'all.

The song I've chosen is that Beatles' classic "Let It Be," and - confession - I had to do dozens of takes before I got something halfway presentable. I wanted to do a really pared down version and chose to play it on my ukulele, but I just couldn't hit the high note in the chorus. Eventually I swapped out the uke for my guitar, changed the chords to something that fits my voice a little better, and, well, it'll do. Hope you'll sing along!
