Today's podcast will be longer for the return of the strip the sound! Join Jeo in her return as we talk about the 'rona, the political division, defunding the police and community led-policing. With her criminology background, she provides a bridge between the radical idea that is to defund the police, and community-led policing and the crime prevention through social development ; these ideas are so close, the issue could stem from the question, "Who is the recipient of the city funding?" For the past 5-years, the city budget towards police department is disproportionate to the funding toward healthcare, or education. When will there be compromise?
