Chris is joined by Rajeev Nirmalakhandan to discuss ways to take your adversity, turn it into an asset that you can use to fuel your success.

About today’s guest:

Rajeev is an award-winning writer and director whose work has screened at film festivals across the country and featured in national publications. With a keen eye for storytelling and a passion for creativity, Rajeev has garnered acclaim for his compelling narratives and visually stunning films. His unique perspective as both a filmmaker and a professor allows him to inspire and mentor the next generation of storytellers, sharing his wealth of knowledge and experience in the world of cinema.

Rajeev's personal journey of overcoming numerous medical challenges, including four spinal surgeries that left him with screws and rods in his body, has profoundly shaped his creative vision. Embracing his own resilience and sense of humor, he often quips that he is "partially recyclable." This journey through adversity has not only strengthened his resolve but also enriched his storytelling, enabling him to create textured, multifaceted characters who triumph over great odds.

Beyond filmmaking, Rajeev is a dedicated coach who helps people transform adversity into opportunities for growth. He empowers his clients to ignite their hidden skills and talents, build confidence, and become compelling communicators using the principles of storytelling. Rajeev's coaching is infused with the same depth and authenticity that characterize his films. Despite being a short guy, he has a unique gift for making people feel tall, instilling in them the belief that they can overcome any obstacle and achieve their fullest potential.
