Dorian T. Warren is a scholar, organizer, and media personality whose work focuses on advancing racial, economic, and social justice . Currently, he is the president of Community Change, and co-chair of the Economic Security Project. He also co-hosts the podcast "System Check."Previously, Warren taught for over a decade at the University of Chicago and Columbia University, where he was co-director of the Columbia University Program on Labor Law and Policy. He has also worked as a contributor and a host at MSNBC, where he was also the executive producer of “Nerding Out” on MSNBC’s digital platform. He has appeared on NBC Nightly News, ABC, MSNBC, CNN, CNBC, BET, BBC, NPR, Bloomberg, and NY1.Warren's writing has appeared in The Nation, Huffington Post, Newsweek, Salon, Washington Post, New York Times, Medium, Ebony.com, and Boston Review.Warren received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his Ph.D. in Political Science from Yale University.
