systemic racism was sky high.
The Preamble placed before The Constitution with care,
in hopes that more Colonists soon would be there.
American citizens were all nestled into their beds,
while visions of freedom and liberty danced in their heads.
And while Ali was out with a migraine,
Celeste said - fuhk all that.
Join us this week as we talk about a perspective of history and democracy that We The People aren't supposed to recognize. Because if we did - our country would actually have to ask what it could do for Us; and that's not a question they're ever gonna ask.
Not with democracy that’s rooted “all this”, anyway.
