Mark Joseph Inglis is a mountaineer, researcher, winemaker, and motivational speaker. He is also a cyclist and, as a double leg amputee, won a silver medal at the 2000 Summer Paralympics. Currently, he is Director and Co-Owner of his personal and professional training company, MiddlePeak Ltd.Inglis has published several memoirs. His first book, "No Mean Feat," was published in 2002 and abridged the next year for the young adult market under the title "To the Max." His second book, "Off the Front Foot," was published in 2003.
