Dr. Geoffrey Levin is assistant professor of Middle Eastern and Jewish Studies at Emory University. His first book, Our Palestine Question: Israel and American Jewish Dissent, 1948-1978, is available through Yale University Press. His work has appeared in The Atlantic, The Forward, The Daily Beast, Israel Studies Review, Sources, Arab Studies Journal, Israel Affairs, Journal of Modern Jewish Studies, H-Diplo, Journal of Jewish Identities, and Shofar.

Currently, he is the Deputy Editor of Foreign Policy Magazine.Previously, Polakow-Suransky was the International Opinion Editor of the New York Times. Before that, he was Senior Editor at the Council on Foreign Relations, and a contributing editor at the American Prostpect.Polakow-Suransky's first book, "The Unspoken Alliance: Israel's Secret Relationship with Apartheid South Africa," was published in 2010. His second book, "Go Back to Where You Came From: The Backlash Against Immigration and the Fate of Western Democracy," was published in 2017.Polakow-Suransky received his B.A. in History and Urban Studies from Brown University, and his Ph.D. in Modern History from Oxford University.
