The Buddy Review Podcast is a weekly show where Scott andCasille discuss their favorite TV shows, movies, and other pop culture topics. In this episode, they talk about the Australian children's animated TV showBluey. They particularly focus on the episode "Keepy Uppy", where thetwo main characters, Bluey and Bingo, play Keepy Uppy with their parents. Thehosts discuss “yes and” and why it’s important as well as keeping kids occupiedwhile you must do other things around the house and how it's important to havea game where they can play, but at the same time, something where you are ableto do what you need to do.

In this episode, Scott and Casille talk about the importanceof fostering a sense of cooperation and to take the ideas of others, acceptthem in their entirety and add to them by utilizing a classic Improv rule “Yesand”. This not only applies to fun theatrical performances, but also to playingwith kids and even engaging with one another on a deeper emotional level. Playing, relationships, and entertainment could get stale if the individuals involvedare not actively participating in pushing along the story.

It can be difficult to entertain children when you need toget housework done, but simple games and the incorporation of improvisationalrules can go a long way with helping keep them engaged and occupied.
