Clarence Reese Jr. was appointed the Fire Chief of the City of Shreveport Fire Department in April 2022. He began his career with the Shreveport Fire Department in 2002. Throughout his 20-year career, he has held the position of: Firefighter, Paramedic, EMS Officer, and Assistant to the Fire Chief. Outside of work, Chief Reese’s owns several businesses and mentors’ youth within the community. He also collaborates with the Caddo Sheriff’s Office as a reserve deputy providing services to the Special Response Team. Chief Reese is married and has 3 children.
