well as we'd like it to. This

journey is potentially

long and arduous. During

this journey, that's, yes

we call anxiety, but

to a very large extent has

everything to do with a dysregulated

nervous system, this journey

to regulating the nervous

system takes

mental awareness. It

takes physical

patience, compassion.

It takes a willingness to

put this, this shift,

this transition as

your priority number one. And

we need to start listening more

so than allowing

the mental side to take the

reins. What I mean by

that is we must listen to

our bodies. What is

our bodies telling us? What

is this incessant mental chatter

telling us? Well,

it's telling us. That we've

been living life, not

4:04

correctly. We've

4:06

been pushing, we've been striving,

we've been looking to problem solve,

we've been fighting. And

4:14

we've passed our threshold, and here

we are, years later. The

body would knock on the door

of our conscious minds years ago,

but we didn't really listen because

the physical sensations, the mental

4:30

stuff, it wasn't really

4:33

that pervasive. And

4:36

now it seems like

4:38

the mind and body are

4:41

banging the door down so that

4:43

we get the message. We've

4:47

been disconnected, disconnected

4:50

from the natural flow of

4:52

things. And

as we gradually, there's

4:57

that key word, gradually come

back to a pace,

a pace in life that

allows our nervous system to find

balance once again. We're

going to find that things do

5:13

improve. But

we don't have control over the results. We

do have control over

which habits we replace. And

so, yes, there

may be meditation going on in your life

right now. But

my question to you is

who's the one meditating? If

it's the unconscious mind or the lower

5:40

self that's meditating, you're

meditating for a specific result. And

if you don't get that result, you

don't believe in meditation anymore. Who's

the one eating? Are

you eating so that you

5:58

can hopefully gather? the

nutrition from that meal and

it can contribute positively to your

6:06

anxiety and dysregulated nervous system. If

you're hoping for that kind of

6:11

a shift while you're eating then

your lower self or unconscious mind is the

6:16

one that's eating, not your

6:18

true self, not your higher

6:20

self. Because your true self

6:22

knows that the most

6:24

important thing that has to

6:26

happen in order for this

nervous system to regulate itself

is to build better relationships with

6:35

what it is you're doing, what it

6:37

is you're eating, who you're with,

and who you're sending new signals

to within you. This

is about compassion, it's about

6:49

patience, and it's

6:51

about putting your ego aside.

It's not about getting anywhere, it's

6:56

about learning along the way. It's

6:59

about understanding intuitively more so

as the journey unfolds. So

right now you may

be going through a difficult time. However,

I want you

to check in to see what

the biggest reason is for

why you're going through such difficulty.

You are one shift in mindset

away from getting back on

track. This

isn't a race but you're

treating it so. You're

trying to win the race but

that's again coming from the

ego consciousness or the lower self. There

is no race and there

is nothing to win here. And

as you begin turning franticness

into gratitude, thank

you for this meal, thank you

for the shower, and allow

yourself to Let

go. Laugh even

at some of your fears. As

you bring humor to the picture, as

lightness begins to

replace irrational fear, you're

going to find that you're back on track. And

it doesn't have to be celebrated. You

don't have to celebrate being back on track,

being in line

with the natural flow of things. No,

there's no need for that. You're

basically coming back to who you truly are.

to unfold, whether good or

bad, because it's all life.
