We live in a world of communication: as humans one of our primary modes of connection is the medium of conversation, which is a dance of giving and receiving, the receiving being based in the art of listening.  Listening is something that we don't think much about, because for the most part people assume that they do it.  I don't agree.  I think listening happens very rarely and if we were to truly listen to each other, to life, and to the world around us, we would enter into a new realm of relating and experiencing life in the world.

So how does listening happen?  What is it made of?  How is it undone?

In this journey we will explore a few key concepts including "The Volley of 'I.s'", "Riffing on Keywords", and "The Space of the Conversation," among other things.  We will explore some simple principles for deepening into listening and how that can vastly improve the quality of your conversations, your relationships, and your life.
