Along with a cohort of Witch Hunters, a priestess and a mysterious shopkeeper, Ludlov will have to travel to the other side of the continent and face untold dangers, all while learning to rely on his travelling companions on his way to obtaining the Witch Hunter rank, which may turn out to be as challenging as the treasure quest itself.

The events in this treasure adventure take place before The Beast of the Western Wilds, which in its turn was a prequel to Witch Hunter.
