Hello and welcome chummers, I am Digital Doom, the host and writer of Shadowrun Survival Guide’s ‘A Day in the Life; Stories from the sixth world.’ Where we tell you stories about an average person on one of the worst days of their lives, whether it is from a corporation, a Shadowrunner, or any other reason in this mixed up Sixth world.

The year is 2080 and corporations run the world. Governments have fallen or changed, people depend on technology and magic to survive. Meta-humanity is a mess of racism and lies. The stories that we tell and the interviews we conduct show just how messed up the 6th world can be.

I bring you these stories because they are stories the mega corporations, government, and news agencies don't want heard. They show the impact everyone has on this fragged up 6th world. Sometimes the stories are good, but most often they are sad and just need to be told. These stories are all for the same reason, to give you a better Shadowrun feel, and to teach you a few things in the hope you survive.

Our first episode I told you my story, and the reason that I am now telling stories instead of running the shadows, I am fraggin old.

Our second episode told you the story of a good chummer of mine who has gone missing. I am still hoping to hear back from one of you with information of Shade's whereabouts.

Our third story, the newest one that has posted, tells the story of Terrence, a weapons design engeiner that works for Ares and the day he lost almost everything.

Stay tuned for more stories to come. We are conducting interviews, digging through corporate matrix nodes, and fact finding everything that comes our way.

As always, if you hear a story that needs to be told, or if you have a rough idea for a story, you can send it to digitaldoom@shadowrunsurvivalguide.com and I will have a team go over the data to put together a solid story. If we use one of your stories we will always give you credit.

After the legal dreck for all of our episodes we have a monthly Shadowrun tip. These tips are given to us from listeners and are good to keep you alive in this messed up criminal enterprise that we call Shadowrunning.

Remember what I always say chummers, Keep your equipment clean, your guns ready, and your eyes open and you may just survive long enough to learn something. Thank you for listening.
