I've learnt in recent years how SO many of mine and other womens insecurities are pretty much all centred around judgement and worrying about being judged by others! I've tried to disect it and really understand where this fear comes from and the further into motherhood I go I realise that judgement is natural! How can we avoid being judged? We simply can't!!! So many of us are being robbed of our freedom and joy for fear of something we cannot control or change. We will be judged whether we like it or not and we will judge others too but i've become very at peace with the fact judgement isn't always a bad thing. We can be judged positively just as much as negatively and since starting to live my life and navigate motherhood and becoming prepared and accepting of being judged I feel so free and at home with myself.  The bits in between is hard enough without even more pressure on ourselves to never put a foot wrong - that's a quick way to feel miserable I'm sure of it! So now my youngest is a year old I spent the weekend of her birthday reflecting on my 3.5 years of motherhood and what advice I would give anyone wanting to live a care free life void of fear of judgement... So here are my thoughts and here's to caring less, a hell of a lot less!
