As I eluded to in the last post, time is fickle and health can be fleeting. Many of us are walking around with serious undetected issues. The moral dilemma is what to do about it, if anything.

Perhaps it is more of a personal decision. I've known many a patient who suspected a serious malady but chose to ignore it and live on until the natural course of the disease drew their life to an end.

As science and technology push boundaries, functional medicine races to keep up. The array of tests and treatments astound even a seasoned physician. In the end, the choice lies in how long and how well a person wants to live.
