Well, it’s another two parter as I interview Kate Howey MBE, British Judo Head Coach.

Kate’s roll of honour is impressive to say the least:

  • A 4 x Olympian, winning bronze in Barcelona in 1992 and silver in Sydney in 2000 making her Great Britain’s most successful female Olympic Judoka.
  • 5 World championship medals (Including World title in 1997) and 2 x fifth places.
  • 8 European championship medals
  • Lots of other International medals including winning the Paris Tournament

In this first part we chat about getting into judo, being part of the extremely strong Great Britain Women’s team under coach Roy Inman OBE and her experience of the Olympic Games.

Part 2 will follow soon!  #ThrowThePod
