For those of you who don’t know who I am, my name is Omar Tyree, another hardworking, blue-collar, West Philadelphia native, who became a legendary author of what I called “urban classics” of African-American life in America. I also became a New York Times bestseller with the publishing house of Simon & Schuster.

I now aim to become a legendary filmmaker with original story content as well as my long-awaited adapted book content, including the Philadelphia classic, Flyy Girl that inspired millions of new young readers and spawned hundreds of new urban writers.
