With the Congress in a gridlock for passing any gun control rules, there won't be any luck in passing them.

Excellent overview, albeit depressing. Democratic presidents who had congress under their belt during their Presidencies, ignored curbing the NRA outreach and proposing policies that regulate guns; Bill Clinton, Barrack Obama, and Joe Biden had opportunities to make it happen at least once , but the same ludicrous promises that probably mean nothing to them. Let us assume, Congress and House are not aligned, these POTUSs had/have executive powers: USE them! If Trump used his to build a wall, Why didn’t Obama used his to regulate guns and band assault rifles ? He had 8 years ! I’m enraged by the failure of the democrats who breach social justice with zero actions! It is no surprise that many are turning republic as they see actions and commitments!
