Nadine Strossen served as the president of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) from 1991 until 2008, and still sits on the ACLU’s National Advisory Council. She is also the John Marshall Harlan II Professor of Law (Emerita) at New York Law School, and the author of several books, including her most recent, Hate: Why We Should Resist it With Free Speech, Not Censorship.
