I genuinely can’t believe that I don’t hear more people talking about this show! The Last Echoes presents stories from a distant galaxy in order to help the listeners whether or not to join The Collected, a mega-power which has taken over many human settlements in recent times (some, it would appear, more amicably than others…). I love ‘wholesome’ science fiction and the show encourages you to think about what normal life would look like for a regular citizen of these richly imagined worlds. Each episode has a beautifully designed sound-scape to accompany it which makes the entries seem so much more realistic. It’s so worth a listen and I really hope the team make more!
