Hello lovely listeners!

Today's wonderful guest is Miss Samantha Tross, the UK's first female of Afro-Caribbean descent to become a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic surgeon.

Many of us won't be the 'first' to do something, but this is a fabulous example of someone being what they can't see. Sam speaks about the importance of mentorship and sponsorship, and how we can sponsor trainees.

We have a very special announcement to make - we have made membership to the MWF only £5 for all medical students!Sign up at this link: https://www.medicalwomensfederation.org.uk/members/join-us
