Today its all about art and we gonna be enlightened by Glenda.Biography

Glenda Tanyaradzwa Kepekepe is an artist born and raised in Harare, Zimbabwe. She first took an interest in art at a very tender age and went on to study it formally for 5 years during her high school years at Watershed College. In 2013 and 2015 she was awarded the Azele trophy and Anne Knott trophy respectively for the best art student in her class. She went on to pursue a degree in Interior Architecture with Cyprus International University which saw her move to North Cyprus. She has an interest in visual communication, photography and fine art. Her most recent work is a collaboration with other artists to paint a mural at the Cyprus International University’s International Centre. Glenda draws inspiration from her personal experiences, those of others and also from her surroundings. She has the ability to tell a story from her creations. Growing up in a society that doesn’t value art as highly as other subjects, she has her parents to thank for pushing her to pursue her dreams as an artist. Her hope is to show her views from her creations, to convey a message and to bring people together through her work. She also hopes one day her work will inspire more attention to be given to the art sector especially in her home country Zimbabwe.
