Dr. Sasha Polakow-Suransky is an investigative journalist and author. Currently, he is the Deputy Editor of Foreign Policy Magazine.Previously, Polakow-Suransky was the International Opinion Editor of the New York Times. Before that, he was Senior Editor at the Council on Foreign Relations, and a contributing editor at the American Prostpect.Polakow-Suransky's first book, "The Unspoken Alliance: Israel's Secret Relationship with Apartheid South Africa," was published in 2010. His second book, "Go Back to Where You Came From: The Backlash Against Immigration and the Fate of Western Democracy," was published in 2017.Polakow-Suransky received his B.A. in History and Urban Studies from Brown University, and his Ph.D. in Modern History from Oxford University.

Oluwabusayo Temitope Folarin is an author. He is also Executive Director of the Institute for Policy Studies, a progressive think tank based in Washington DC.In 2013 Folarin became the first writer based outside Africa to win the Caine Prize, which he won for his short story "Miracle." The story is set in Texas in an evangelical Nigerian church.[9] The award of the prize — which is open to anyone who was born in Africa, is an African national, or whose parents are African — generated some discussion about whether the author's connection to Africa was strong enough.[10][11][12]Folarin’s short story “Miracle” won the 2013 Caine Prize for African Writing. His first novel, “A Particular Kind of Black Man,” was published in August 2019, and won the Whiting Award for Fiction.Folarin received his B.A. from Morehouse and his M.Sc. in African Studies and his M.Sc. in Comparative Social Policy from the University of Oxford.
