“Shoes won’t change the world, but the women who wear them will.”

As women, we do have a lot of power packed within us and one such woman is marketing powerhouse Daria Burke, Ad Age 2020 Woman to Watch and Chief Marketing Officer of JustFab, the online shoe retailer. She is responsible for the global brand awareness and positioning of the brand as well as overseeing all marketing functions across all channels and geographics. Prior to JustFab, Daria spent years building iconic fashion and beauty brands through innovative marketing initiatives.

This week on The Rozy Effect, we had the pleasure of sitting down and speaking with Daria Burke. During our sit down, one of the topics we discussed was the intersection of beauty and technology from the consumer’s perspective. We discussed internal culture and digital transformation in the beauty industry, what it looks like and how it can be repositioned. Technology has affected the way we reach out to consumers, and more importantly, there are 3 key factors that will determine if any business that has undergone digital transformation will be successful or not.

Daria has seen herself at the core front of working hand in hand with the data science and media measurement team in her organization to ensure that their marketing initiatives leverage the latest consumer analytics, trends and other insights. She has been discharging her duty effectively for over 2 years working at the organization, so there is no better leader than Daria to discuss this topic with.

We also discussed leadership through digital transformation and the effect of the sheltering during the covid19 pandemic, understanding consumer needs, and effectively discharging leadership roles that highlights well-being and maintains excellent standards.

You don’t want to miss the conversation with Daria on this week’s episode of “Achieving leadership goals despite race and gender” Tune in for some of Daria's insight!
