Good morning and happy New

0:02

Year, everyone. This is Trevor Van Winkle.

0:04

I am the show runner

0:06

for Sheridan Dave's tales of the Echowood

0:09

and such

0:10

forth. And I'm Virginia Spotts.

0:12

I'm a producer with bumps

0:14

out on the corner and most of

0:16

yeah. All these other projects. And we're

0:18

here to give you a state

0:20

of the homestead for twenty twenty

0:22

three what we have planned this year when

0:24

you can expect things. Take

0:27

it away then we

0:27

go. Alright. Thank you very much. Yeah.

0:30

So first, announcement. We have

0:32

joined the realm podcast network as

0:34

of last December or

0:36

or the December just passed. How were you say that?

0:39

December twenty twenty two. Homestead

0:41

on the corner, the Sheraton Tapes and tales of Echowood

0:44

are all now part of the Realm

0:46

network, which is very, very exciting.

0:48

It's something Virginia and I have been looking for

0:50

in some form or another since our

0:52

partnership began basically someone to

0:54

help with. Advertising sales

0:57

and promotion of the show while also

0:59

giving us a greater level of

1:00

support. So that is something we are both very,

1:03

very excited about. And then as well,

1:05

we did our crowdfunding for the

1:07

final season of the Sheridan tapes that

1:09

ended last month we reached

1:11

a hundred and one percent of our

1:13

base goal. It was successful

1:16

and we are so grateful to all of you who

1:18

ported us and shared it out. It would

1:20

not have been possible without

1:22

your involvement. End of the year is a crazy

1:25

time of year to crowd

1:27

funds, and we're so grateful that it worked.

1:29

Season four is fully funded. We cannot

1:31

wait to bring that to you. But in

1:33

the meantime, yeah, we're gonna keep putting

1:35

out some interseason content later

1:38

in January. We're taking a few weeks off

1:40

at the start of year just to take

1:42

some time, enjoy the holidays

1:45

and rest little bit before launching

1:47

into a little bit of a crazy

1:49

schedule for twenty twenty three, but one we're

1:51

both very, very excited out. First

1:53

up, we have a very exciting crossover

1:56

with the SCP archives podcast coming

1:58

up at the end of January. That

2:00

is something we're both really really excited

2:02

out. It's kind of this fun,

2:05

almost alternate universe take on

2:07

a bunch of familiar faces from the Sheraton

2:09

tapes and new and unexpected places.

2:12

It's been really great working with that team

2:14

over at Bloody disgusting and with Pacifico

2:16

but I have a show runner in particular. And

2:19

we're really excited to share that with you in

2:21

a couple of weeks. After that crossover

2:23

comes out, we're gonna be doing biweekly releases

2:25

of So more remastered episodes

2:28

of the original Homestead in the corner anthology

2:30

along with a bunch of new Bsides and

2:33

that will continue basically through until

2:35

the beginning of season

2:37

four? Yes. So we are already

2:39

hard at work on the writing and planning

2:41

of season four. We do have the season fully

2:44

outlined. We are getting way

2:46

into the minutiae per episode

2:48

of what will be

2:49

occurring, and we've already started assigning

2:51

some scripts. And

2:52

we are aiming for a late May

2:54

premiere day. For the Sheridan tapes

2:57

season four. Which as reminder is

2:59

our final season and we are in

3:01

the process of planning the very

3:03

very end of the finale. Which is

3:05

a emotional moment for all of us. In

3:07

addition to that, with the winter

3:09

of the Echowood just having been

3:11

released, we are relaunching

3:14

tails at the Echowood a little bit. We're not

3:16

gonna be doing a full season this year obviously

3:19

because season four of the

3:21

Sheraton tape is our big focus.

3:23

All consuming. Yes. Yes.

3:26

But we will be releasing some additional stories

3:28

throughout the year in including a summer

3:30

special to be released in June just about

3:33

six months from when the winter special

3:35

was released along with four additional

3:38

mini episodes that will come out just about

3:40

every two months throughout the year. So there'll

3:42

be plenty of Echowood stuff

3:45

coming down the the pipeline for

3:46

you. In addition, we are

3:49

also doing a soft relaunch

3:51

of the original homestead on the corner

3:53

podcast and a rich nearly that was a

3:55

mix of writing lessons and

3:57

ten original anthologies that

3:59

inspired the Sheridan tapes and tales of

4:01

the So what we'll be bringing

4:04

you is four episodes

4:07

of lessons on audio drama

4:09

writing and production. We'll be finding

4:11

some very fun, talented people

4:13

to interview for that, and we will be releasing

4:16

a couple of experimental audio

4:18

stories. Before share to tape season

4:20

four begins and we hope to sort of pepper

4:23

in little bits of whatever we

4:25

can through the rest of here as

4:27

well as we will be bringing you a new

4:29

full length homestead story in

4:32

December. So you have that to look forward

4:34

to. That's a little button on the end of the year.

4:36

Yeah. Absolutely. So with all of that,

4:39

it is a very busy schedule for the year. We'll be putting

4:41

out basically new episodes every week

4:44

in one of those three feeds

4:46

starting at the end of January through to basically

4:49

the end of December with one week off at

4:51

the end of the year. We're spoiling

4:53

ourselves. And

4:55

all of this additional content is

4:57

only possible because of the generosity of

5:00

Patreon and seed and spark backers

5:02

and with the backing of real media. So

5:04

thank you so much to all of

5:06

you who support us directly If you don't

5:09

yet, check out our Patreon. We've got

5:11

some good behind the scenes

5:13

patron podcast that we usually release

5:15

weekly if we're in like an active production period

5:18

of like looks behind the scenes on whatever

5:20

we've just made. We do

5:22

episode five streams and q and a's

5:25

we throw some extra behind the scenes

5:27

content on there every now and then. And

5:29

that is the best way to support

5:32

Asante. Tiny regular

5:34

basis to make sure we can keep making all of

5:36

this content. And we're so grateful to

5:38

all of you who have joined us on

5:40

one of these platforms.

5:42

To support us. Thank you so much. Thank you all

5:44

so much for wonderful year. Twenty twenty two

5:46

was amazing and we're

5:48

so excited for what the new year has to bring. So

5:50

Take care of yourselves and we will see

5:52

you all very very soon. Bye.
