As a sisterhood we glean, support and encourage one another. It is our pleasure to begin a Season of Interviews with our sisters . This Sisterhood is compiled of women with tremendous testimonies,  stories and education. We want each sister to have a platform to share that knowledge; whether through experience, research or studies Behind Closed Doors will continue to offer a platform for continued growth and education together.

What better way to start this season than with an episode in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month? This month we remember those who have lost their battle against Breast Cancer and encourage the women who are on their own journey. We are blessed by the opportunity to interview a woman of God and sister in this sisterhood Mrs. Deneetrea Henry. We get a special reflection with this interview as Mrs. Henry shares her story of loss and her journey of healing. From losing her mother to Breast & Ovarian Cancer to currently walking out her own journey due to her diagnosis on June 22, 2020 we are allotted a special chance to see two sides of the spectrum. In this interview you get a special chance to see a reflection of her mothers diagnosis and fight and how it is affecting her own journey.

May this interview encourage you, inspire you and educate you on a battle being faced by many. Some of us are on our own journey fighting cancer, some are grieving the loss of a loved one and then there are your special few (like Deneetra) balancing both.
