Shelly Freeman speaks about her role at YIVO in the preserving of Eastern European Jewry and new face of anti-semitism. YIVO is a research institute, an institution of higher learning, an adult education organisation, a cultural organisation, and a world-renowned library and archive. It was forced by World War II to relocate to New York City, where it has been headquartered since 1940.
