Join THIS OLD MAN--the podcast and the host--weekly, daily, monthly, whenever it serves as a suitable place for the eponymous Allen Scult to continue his life's work and play in philosophy. Scult's thinking takes him--and the listener--to a variety of philosophical landscapes, not least of which relates to his own being, now an old man. Scult draws on his own work/play, as well as many of the great philosophers across time, especially Heidegger, Nietzsche, Plato, Socrates. Sometimes calm but never boring, as applicable to everyday life as to death, This Old Man resonates with the deep wisdom and sacred energies of the natural world, in which it is recorded.
