Hey, better late than never, right?! We’ve got the latest edition of the Total Packers podcast and I think the biggest development here is that Shawn finally realizes that sometimes, he rambles.
That self-realization came up during our discussion of former Packers receiver Greg Jennings’ debut in the booth. We’re gonna call that one a little uneven, although we’re both pulling for the guy.
Onto the task at hand, the Packers faced a must-win against Tampa Bay and they delivered that win, although not without much hand-wringing. Brett Hundley was and maybe just in general, is, terrible.
Who isn’t terrible? Rooking running back Jamaal Williams, who finally showed some vision. That said, we were both surprised that he got the start over Aaron Jones.
What makes Williams the best bet to play going forward? We’ll tell you.
This one-two punch could essentially also spell the end for Ty Montgomery, at least as a running back. What does his future hold? Shawn has a pretty good idea.
On defense, the Packers are suddenly packing a pass rush. Blake Martinez, Clay Matthews and Kenny Clark all stepped up in this one, although we are still suspect about the Packers’ run defense.
And about that Aaron Rodgers’ comeback?
It could happen, but under what circumstances? We’re going to disagree on that one.
Are you ready for trouble?
