23 years ago , an 11 year old vanished without a hint of a trace; It’s quite shocking that such an incident happened 2 decades ago when it was safe for kids to walk to their schools/friends’ homes or stroll around their neighborhoods knowing that it was safe. These days are long gone now but they were typical back then. I agree with the hosts concerning the police initial reaction ; Wait 48 hours to report someone’s missing.. !! How is that plausible when an 11 year child vanishes completely from her neighborhood? Who knows what would happen if the police investigated Trudy’s disappearance, the minute she vanished? Would Trudy be saved? Or Would it be possible to catch her killer(s) soon? Nevertheless, I’m impressed with the Billboards and Facebook posts that were shared by the Police Department; They are haunting and it’s quite disgusting that those who know something are not willing to help the police and have this family the closure it deserves. It seems that the Police has seized the boat the belonged to the main and only suspect and DNA experts will be attempting to examine if Trudy’s DNA could be traced back to this boat... As a police officer describe this case as HOT, it’s not Cold ..
