I enjoyed listening to this episode as it happened in my home town & my Dad is James Earl Mankins Jr.I would like to suggest a very important edit. It would be to insert the fact that James Earl Mankins Jr was acquitted of all charges pertaining to this case. While my Dad may have been found guilty of drug charges, a murderer he absolutely is not. I was in middle school (10 years old) when this horrific story re-entered the headlines and growing up in the small town of Kilgore,Tx was hard. It made my &my family's life hell because of false accusations made by police & media, lawsuits to get his name cleared. It's been a lot I understand you do not have to change, edit or add anything but me & my family would appreciate it.
