Tune in to the 46th installment of True Crime New England's case profile mini-episode series for another set of heart wrenching tales. To start off the episode, Liz tells of the senseless murder of Berta Pereira-Roldan in 2019, who was mistakenly shot outside of a club while she celebrated her birthday. Then, Katie tells the mysterious tale of the Westford John Doe, who was a black man that had been murdered and dumped in Massachusetts in 1973. His identity remains unknown to this day. Anyone with any information on the Westford John Doe is asked to please call the Westford Police Department’s tip line at (978) 399-2072. You can also submit a tip online through the department’s website at westfordma.gov or contact the Middlesex District Attorney’s office at (781) 897-6600.
