Many of us walk around with old wounds from our past that have never healed because we were taught to leave the past in the past. As adults, we get bombarded with triggers from those traumatic events an act out without making the connections. It's hard because we know our parents did the best they could with what they had, so we move on unconsciously harboring on to resentment while simultaneously manifesting our pain to others in creative ways like building walls or pushing away any sort of affection. Some call emotional detachment, but I call it another form of masked pain and in this episode, I give a glimpse of its negative effects from a child's perspective. Dive in and tell me what you think.
