Viking Story
“Viking Story” explores elements of the Viking world that I had to consider when writing my fictional Viking novel. For an overview of many Viking themes, from religion to law, from exploration of the New World to the history of the Viking homelands themselves, this podcast will look into the culture of the Vikings and answer many questions concerning who the Vikings actually were.My name is Alan Laycock-Fuchs and I am an archaeologist, historian, and scholar with unique insight into the Viking world, having spent extensive time living in different parts of Scandinavia and studying Viking culture and history. Future seasons of this podcast may focus more on my personal publication journey, as it relates to my novel, but Vikings will always be at the heart of every season as my novel is set in the Viking age and is naturally focused on this particular theme.To learn more about the Vikings then please listen and subscribe.
