My Sausage Burger Recipe:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 1 pound of Italian Sausage. Turn it into 2 half pound patties or 4 quarter pound patties. Season with sea salt, black pepper, and Italian Seasoning. Add olive oil on a skillet and heat to medium high heat. Half pound patties should sear for at least 4-5 minutes on each side till it gets to a coloration of your satisfaction without getting burned. Quarter pound patties may take less but keep an eye on them. When they are seared to your liking, put them on a baking sheet with aluminum foil, and put them in the oven for 10-12 minutes. While the skillet is still hot and has plenty of seasonings there, toast your hamburger buns on both sides for 15 seconds or until it looks as desired. Put the buns on plates and add spicy chipotle mustard on both buns. When the patties are out of the oven, put them on the bottom buns, put Pepper Jack Cheese on top of the patties, and gently squish the top buns onto the patties and cheese. Let them rest for 5 minutes. Then enjoy.
