There was a shirt I wore last year that got plenty of compliments. It was a white shirt with only two words on it: “diversity matters.” This caught the attention of many people and I had always asked myself why. The word "diversity" is interesting because it can produce multiple definitions that can mean something different for everyone. That's why I became incredibly interested in talking to diverse people because I figured that I’d learn a multitude of topics in one sitting. Nic Patino is one of those individuals that you could ask for advice on a specific area in your life, and come out of the conversation with a refreshed view of not only the topic at hand but the approach you may take towards many things.
