September 18th saw the passing of one of the most influential women in modern history. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, former member of the Supreme Court and well-known women's advocate, died at age 87 after a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer. Ginsburg's death has attracted national coverage, but it's not all for the sake of mourning the cultural icon. With less than two months until the presidential election, a seat is now open on the Supreme Court. History tells us that this rarely ends without a fight, and we can expect one now more than ever.
Join us in remembering Justice Ginsburg while also looking ahead to see what her death means for the country as we gear up for the election. 2020 just got a little more complicated.
