This topic can be disagreeable, however, from my experience, being too nice can put you in awkward situations.

These are experiences and opinions of my own which I'd like to share with you.

From professional to social situations, being to nice can lead to your demise.
Mostly, you get taken advantage of, you get walked all over because of your considerate character.

In a professional sense, it may lead to being treated unfairly or treated with disrespect

In the end, don't be harsh unnecessarily, you can still be nice and considerate, but always remember to stay your ground and speak up for yourself.
