Last year, tobacco killed nearly six million people - more than tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS and malaria combined.Tobacco companies invest a fortune to attract new smokers. Evidence shows that legislation is an effective way to counter this and save lives. We look at what countries in the WHO/Europe region have done to counter aggressive tobacco marketing and the plague of second-hand smoke.
