Laurie Barkman is the founder and CEO of SmallDotBig, providing innovation and growth solutions for entrepreneurs and multi-generational businesses. 

Laurie brings an entrepreneurial approach to mature companies struggling with change, and a structured approach to fast-growth companies experiencing growing pains.

As an outside executive of a third generation, 120-year old company, she was part of a long-term management succession plan. Now she works with next generation entrepreneurs, privately-held companies, and family businesses to develop innovations that create enterprise value and transition plans to achieve their long-term goals.

Laurie is the Creator and Host of the Succession Stories podcast​- innovation and transition insights for next generation entrepreneurs.  And she's an Instructor of Entrepreneurship at the Corporate Startup Lab at Carnegie Mellon University.
