Alcoholism was the solution to Robbie's problems. As someone who was abandoned by his birth parents, along with his brother and sister, Robbie had many things on his mind. Spending his childhood in and out of foster care, then his adulthood in and out of prison, Robbie felt as if the world had dealt him a losing hand and now owed him for this.

But after too many failures in life, Robbie realized that alcohol wasn't the problem, he was problem. It's taken him many years and a few attempts but Robbie is now clean and sober.
