Nancy G. Allen, an international speaker, coach, consultant, author and expert on women’s business issues, was blindsided when her husband learned he had Stage Four cancer. 

It was through her own perseverance and creativity that she managed to keep her sanity, run the household and be the best caregiver in the world for her dearly beloved.

Nancy has put this wisdom into a workshop so that she could share it with others that are suffering through either a personal or professional transition of their own. 

Nancy's Workshop on transition, called "The Art of An Elegant Transition" is now available.

Nancy G. Allen has been helping small business owners at all stages of growth for over 30 years. As President of the Women’s Business Development Council of Florida, Nancy manages a team of staff, sponsors, partners and women business leaders who are dedicated to certifying, connecting and championing women in business. 

Nancy has been recognized for her work on behalf of women in business through numerous prestigious awards, including being named as one of South Florida’s 100 most accomplished Caribbean Americans by the International Career and Business Alliance (ICABA); Women Impacting Public Policy’s Legacy Circle Award; and the Group of 100 Global Women Leaders.

Her clients have included UPS, the Urban League, AARP, New York Life, State Farm, the Women of Color Empowerment Institute, Global Ties Miami, and WEConnect International. 

Nancy is the author of 2 books: The Decision to Scale: 25 Tips for Women-Owned Businesses Looking to Grow, and The Decision to Start: 25 Tips for a Second Career as a Woman Business Owner.  The books offer tips, tools, resources and inspiration for women looking to start and scale their business to the next level.

Nancy’s personal motto is “Connections, creativity and courage in all endeavors.” She holds a master’s degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. Nancy was born in Haiti and raised in South Florida.  She is bilingual in English and French and is fluent in Spanish and Creole.
