I appreciate how difficult nutrition science especially when most of the studies are epidemiological. I think Gary highlights the difficulty in drawing conclusions; however, I was not a fan of how dismissive Gary was of the scientists who conducted the studies. Gary questioned their scientific abilities and came off poorly in my eyes.

I was far more interested in the second topic about how intelligence has continued to be the most valuable trait for career success. Unfortunately, not enough time was spent on this topic for my taste. The race and IQ stuff is important to acknowledge and can't be denied, but I don't think Murray adequately explained why such research is needed. I suppose to repudiate Affirmative action-type programs, but that's probably it.

Sam, David, and Tamler have great rapport. I'm not sure how much new frontier they've explored, but it's a fun listen for any fans of Sam and the Very Bad Wizards.
